General Recommendations

SUGARCANE:

  • After planting or 1st stubble when about 30 days old apply 1 liter of ZumSil to the soil –dilution 1:100 in water per acre (1 liter in 25 gal)
  • When cane is about 2 feet high, then apply 1 liter of ZumSil to the soil –dilution 1:100 in water per acre (1 liter in 25 gal)
  • At 30 days from spraying or when plant is about 4 feet high apply 1 liter/acre of ZumSil – dilution 1:100 in water per acre (1 liter in 25 gal)
  • One additional spraying before plant closes in or if possible by air in June

RICE:

  • Prior to planting, apply 1 liter of ZumSil to the soil –dilution 1:200 in water per acre
  • 10 days after herbicide application, apply ½ liter/acre of ZumSil – dilution 1:200 in water
  • 15 days after this last application, apply 1 liter/acre of ZumSil- dilution 1:200 in water
  • At 50 days from planting apply ½ liter/acre of ZumSil – dilution 1:200 in water per acre

VEGETABLES, FRUIT TREES, ROW CROPS:

  • Apply 1 liter per acre per acre per application throughout growing season.
  • At least 3 applications are recommended.
  • Frequent applications at 1 ½ liters (quarts) per acre may be necessary to correct deficiencies once they occur.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Put ⅓ of the water in spray tank.
  • Add the correct amount of ZumSil Silica.
  • Fill tank with balance of water and any other chemicals, if any and agitate thoroughly.

CAUTION: Check this product’s compatibility with ortho-phosphates, high potash solutions, and chemical mixtures by means of a jar test prior to tank mixing
